Ductless Mini Split Systems
The system—an outdoor unit and a quiet wall-mounted indoor unit or ceiling cassette —is often called a mini-split heat pump. Heat pump systems have been used in the United States and Latin America for decades to heat and cool homes. However, mini-splits are more energy efficient because they are zoned systems.
